The history of Loodet B.V., a family business, goes back to 1983. That’s when Mr Lourier Sr. started in Hazerswoude with a truck and a bulk carrier under the name of Lourier Op- en -Overslag. Over the years, our company’s activities expanded significantly into the storage and transfer of raw materials. This is the reason we moved to the Hazeldonk industrial estate in Breda at the beginning of the 1990s. Loodet B.V. was established there in 1996, specialising in the storage, transfer, repackaging, sifting and grinding of solid raw materials.
In 2004, continued growth made it necessary for us to commission a new building of our own on the Hazeldonk industrial estate. And in 2006, another large expansion of this location followed: the distribution centre was expanded to its current surface area of nearly 30,000 square metres. A building suitable for the storage of ADR and non-ADR classified goods, food and feed.
